Kanjirappally Block Panchayat - Mission & Vision
Vision
To transform Kanjirappally Block Panchayat, which is full of hilly slopes and abundant plantation crops, into a model block panchayat that ensures sustainable development and social justice with local participation. The vision of Kanjirappally is to achieve comprehensive and universal development that ensures quality living conditions for all sections of the people through eco-friendly agricultural advancement and improved infrastructure.
Mission
Agricultural Economic Development: To increase the income of farmers by promoting the production of value-added products and alternative crops along with the production of rubber, which is a traditional plantation crop.
Infrastructure Development: To ensure complete roads, drinking water schemes, housing construction and sanitation systems in all the gram panchayats in the block.
Environmental Protection and Sanitation: Protect the Manimala River and local water sources, and build a waste-free and green panchayat through the Haritha Keralam project.
Social Welfare and Women Empowerment: Ensure economic and social security for women and the backward classes by strengthening Kudumbashree and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
Public Health and Education: Expand the services of primary health centers and transform Anganwadis and schools into centers of excellence with modern facilities.
Transparent Governance: Make e-governance systems efficient and provide services to the people in a fast and transparent manner.
